What is VuTransfer?
VuTransfer is a privacy-first file sharing service. You upload files in the browser, get a download link, and control expiration and access. Transfers are encrypted in transit and at rest.
Is VuTransfer free?
Yes. There is a free plan with 2GB of storage and unlimited transfers within that storage. Paid Pro and Ultimate plans add more storage and features such as custom expiration, email transfers, and password protection.
Do you use my files to train AI?
No. VuTransfer does not use your file contents to train AI models, and we do not mine transfer contents for advertising.
How do I send a large file?
Create an account, start a transfer, and upload files up to 50GB each. VuTransfer automatically uses chunked uploads for files over 5GB. Set an expiration if available on your plan, then share the download link with your recipient. See our guide on sending files securely for step-by-step instructions.
Can I password-protect a transfer?
Password-protected transfers are available on higher plans (Ultimate). Check the pricing page for the current feature list per plan.
How long do download links last?
You can set custom expiration dates on supported plans. When a transfer expires, recipients can no longer download it.
