By accessing or using VuTransfer ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

VuTransfer provides end-to-end encrypted file sharing services. Our platform allows you to:

• Upload and encrypt files using client-side encryption
• Generate secure, time-limited download links
• Share files with complete privacy protection
• Control access and expiration of shared content

We cannot access the contents of your encrypted files. Only you and recipients with valid download links can decrypt and access the content.

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You may not share your account with others or use multiple accounts to circumvent service limitations.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Upload, store, or share illegal content
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Attempt to bypass security measures
• Use the Service to harm, harass, or threaten others
• Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Engage in commercial spam or bulk uploading for illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service

While we cannot access your encrypted files, you agree not to upload:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
• Content that promotes terrorism or violence
• Malware, viruses, or malicious software
• Copyrighted material without authorization
• Content that violates privacy rights
• Material that facilitates illegal activities

We employ hash-based detection for known illegal content and may cooperate with law enforcement when legally required. Violations may result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities.

Your privacy is fundamental to our service:

• Files are encrypted client-side before upload
• We cannot access the contents of your files
• We do not scan, analyze, or use your files for any purpose
• Your data will never be used to train AI models
• We implement technical measures to block AI crawlers

You retain all rights to content you upload. By using the Service, you represent that:

• You own or have the right to share the uploaded content
• Your content does not infringe on third-party rights
• You have obtained necessary permissions for shared content

VuTransfer's software, design, and technology are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary technology.

We strive to maintain high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

• Perform scheduled maintenance with notice
• Temporarily suspend service for security or technical reasons
• Modify features or functionality with reasonable notice

Files are automatically deleted after expiration. We recommend keeping local backups of important files.

Paid plans are billed in advance. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all charges associated with your account
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled
• Our refund policy as stated in your plan details

Failure to pay may result in service suspension or account termination. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Either party may terminate this agreement:

• You may close your account at any time
• We may terminate accounts for Terms violations
• We may suspend accounts pending investigation

Upon termination, your access will be revoked and files may be deleted according to our data retention policy. Some provisions of these Terms will survive termination.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VUTRANSFER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

Our total liability for any claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold VuTransfer harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Content you upload or share
• Violation of these Terms
• Infringement of third-party rights
